With over 25 years experience in selling and fitting bridal gowns I really do understand the stresses you are under when it comes to your dream dress. The first of which is Booking The Appointment – it has to be on X day, at X time and in a busy shop or boutique. Dates and times which are often not at all convenient for you or your bridesmaids. That stress doesn't exist with me, I work around your schedule making the whole experience as relaxed as possible, and as I come to you, you can be sure your appointment is as private as you wish it to be – or get the bridesmaids round, with your hair and make up stylist to make a prewedding event of the occasion and get a sneaky peek at your ideas all coming together.
My mother and I were the proprietors of a successful bridal boutique in Southampton that we regretfully closed at the end of 2014 after trading for over 26 years. We felt the time had come for mum to finally retire; but what would I do? I love bridal and I certainly didn't want to walk away from a job that I loved, so as I had been responsible for the fitting and altering of our brides dresses for many years, and having learnt even more from some very talented designers and seamstresses I had the pleasure and honour of working with, I put my skills to work and started my own Successful alterations company.
